1.1 Subject to the terms and conditions in this Refunds and Return Policy and the Terms of Service, the Buyer may apply for the return of purchased items (“Item”) and/or a refund prior to the expiry of the JD Dropshipping Guarantee Period, as stated in the Terms of Service.
1.2 JD Dropshipping Guarantee is a service provided by JD Dropshipping, upon User’s request, to assist Users in resolving disputes that may arise during the course of a transaction. Users may also communicate with each other directly to settle disputes or approach their relevant local authorities prior, during or after using JD Dropshipping Guarantee.
2.1 The Buyer may apply for a refund and/or return of the Item only under the following circumstances:
The Item has not been received by the Buyer;
The Item was defective and/or damaged upon delivery;
The Item received is incomplete (missing quantity or accessories);
Seller delivered an Item that does not match the agreed specification (e.g., wrong size, colour, model);
The Item delivered is materially different from the description provided by the Seller in the listing;
The Item received is counterfeit;
The Item received has physical damage (e.g., dented, scratched, shattered);
The Item received is faulty or does not function as intended;
By private agreement with the Seller, confirmed by Seller in writing to JD Dropshipping;
Change of mind* (only for eligible categories and selected Sellers).
2.2 The Buyer’s application must be submitted via the JD Dropshipping platform (web or app).
2.3 JD Dropshipping will review each Buyer’s application on a case-by-case basis and, at its sole discretion, decide whether the application is successful.
2.4 If required by JD Dropshipping, the Buyer must ship the Item to the designated return location within ten (10) calendar days after the return request is raised.
2.5 Approval of any refund or return request lies solely with JD Dropshipping. Buyer agrees that JD Dropshipping’s decision shall be final, binding, and conclusive, and waives any right to assert claims against JD Dropshipping or its affiliates in relation to such decision.
2.6 In the event of legal proceedings initiated by the Buyer against the Seller, the Buyer may provide JD Dropshipping with formal notification from the relevant authority. JD Dropshipping, at its sole discretion, may continue to hold the purchase funds until a formal determination is available.
3.1 JD Dropshipping reserves the right to classify Sellers into categories (e.g., verified or preferred). Participation in such programs is at JD Dropshipping’s discretion, and Sellers shall comply with the obligations set out in this Refunds and Return Policy.
3.2 JD Dropshipping’s determination to approve a refund or return request under Section 2 is binding on the Seller. Sellers agree to fully comply with any refund/return process approved by JD Dropshipping.
3.3 For any refund or return approved, JD Dropshipping will notify the Seller via email or platform notification. If the Seller fails to provide a valid local return address or does not accept delivery of the returned Item within a reasonable timeframe, JD Dropshipping reserves the right to dispose of the Item at its discretion.
3.4 In specific cases, JD Dropshipping may decide that an Item approved for refund/return shall not be returned to the Seller. In such cases, the Seller forfeits all rights to the Item.
3.5 If JD Dropshipping rejects a refund/return request and holds the Item, it will arrange re-delivery of the Item to the Buyer.
3.6 A Seller may appeal JD Dropshipping’s decision by submitting supporting evidence. However, JD Dropshipping’s final decision after appeal remains binding and conclusive.
4.1 To ensure a smooth return process, the Buyer must return the Item in the same condition as received, including all original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories. Buyers are advised to take photos upon receipt of the Item for record purposes.
(a) If the return is due to the Seller’s error (damaged, faulty, incorrect Item), the Seller shall bear the return shipping fee.
(b) If the return is due to Buyer’s change of mind, the Buyer bears the return shipping fee, subject to Seller’s prior consent.
(c) In case of disputes over responsibility for shipping costs, JD Dropshipping shall make the final determination.
6.1 Refunds to the Buyer will only be processed once the Seller confirms receipt of the returned Item. If the Seller fails to respond within the stipulated time, JD Dropshipping may, at its discretion, release the refund directly to the Buyer.
6.2 Refunds will be credited to the Buyer’s original payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, bank account, or designated digital wallet).
7.1 JD Dropshipping encourages Users to resolve transaction issues through direct communication whenever possible. As JD Dropshipping is an intermediary platform, Buyers should first attempt to contact Sellers for product-related issues.
